Our mission at CEC 8 is to advocate for and support inclusive, high-quality educational opportunities that nurture the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students. We are committed to fostering collaboration among families, educators, and the community to create learning environments that celebrate diversity, embrace equity, and prepare every student for lifelong success.

We are committed to:

• Restorative justice practices that promote healing, accountability, and community-building.
• Multilingual education that honors linguistic diversity and ensures all students have access to culturally affirming, language-rich learning opportunities
• Special Education and inclusion that upholds the right of every child to learn, grow and thrive with dignity, support, and access to appropriate resources.
• Academic excellence through targeted efforts to increase student proficiency in English Language Arts (ELA), STEM and mathematics, closing achievement gaps and promoting rigorous, culturally responsive instruction.
